Dragonplate's high modulus carbon fiber sheets are crafted using a unique uni-directional prepreg fiber, engineered to be nearly twice as stiff as our standard uni prepreg sheets and around 2.5 times stiffer than our regular solid DragonPlate. This product comes with a satin finish and twill face sheets on both sides. While it's pricier than our other carbon fiber options, it's approximately 50% stiffer than aluminum but half the weight, offering significant weight savings in applications where minimal panel thickness, weight, and deflection are crucial. Our standard range includes select panel thicknesses, but we can custom fabricate these plates up to 30"x40" and 1/2" thick upon request.
